Since Rob joined Intronis in July 2010 as VP of sales, he has had a singular focus on selling to and through the IT channel. In his role, he works closely with Intronis’ MSP partners and prospects. He oversees both the Intronis new business team and its customer success team. As such, he plays an essential role in helping the vendor’s SMB channel partners grow their services businesses. During his tenure, the Intronis MSP partner base grew by more than 30% YOY. The open line of communications Rob has with Intronis’ SMB-focused MSPs often yields the feedback that the company relies on to continuously enhance functionality in its backup and disaster recovery solution as part of its dedication to better serve customers. Prior to Intronis, Rob was director of sales at Gomez, a web optimization platform provider for SMBs, where he pioneered the SaaS (software as a service) sales process. Before that Rob spent more than six years at Oracle, where he concentrated on SMB market penetration.
