Trent Johnsen is co-founder and CEO at Hookflash. Trent has successfully built and sold multiple technology companies over the last 20 years. In 2001, Trent Johnsen was co-founder, CEO and Chairman of Shift Networks, where he led financing, strategy and the national rollout of Canada’s largest business VoIP provider. In 1998, Trent pioneered Cloud and software-as-a-service business models as founder, CEO of Offsite Data. Prior to that, Trent served as President of BryJon Communications, a wireless and call center service provider and led the company through rapid sustained revenue growth and the sale of the business.
Trent’s formal recognitions include KPMG’s “Top 20” for Fastest Revenue Growth, Junior Achievement of Canada for Excellence in Leadership and Corporate Governance, and a National IR Award for Best Investor Relations by a TSX Venture Public company.
Trent holds a BA in Economics from the University of Calgary and is an in-demand speaker on new media, Internet communications and Emerging Technology.
